Office Policies
• Payment
Payment is due at time of service for office visits, medicinary items, and laboratory tests,
with the exception of some forms of bloodwork which may be billed through your insurance plan.
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. We charge a $35 fee for returned checks.
• Medicinary
A small number of medicinary items as well as herbal tinctures are stocked at the office. Other items can be ordered directly from our online medicinary, or drop shipped to your home for your convenience. Please call the office if you need a refill or would like to pick up a tincture as drop-in hours are limited.
• House Calls
House calls may be available depending on where you reside. An additional fee applies. Please contact the office for more information.
• Appointments and cancellations
We ask that you give 24 weekday hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment. We charge $25.00 for no-show appointments or appointments not cancelled with at least 24 hours notice (or $50.00 for first office visits). Because of the nature of naturopathic care, Dr. Lucius only schedules one patient at a time to give each patient her full attention. Our office generally has a waiting list, and an appointment rescheduled at the last minute keeps another patient from receiving care sooner. A credit card number may be required to hold your appointment time.
• Phone Calls and Email
There is no charge for brief questions over the phone or by e-mail. Phone consultations can be arranged if you cannot make it to the office in person for any reason. Phone consultations are billed as regular appointments dependant on time spent with the doctor.
